OVERVIEW

We collect information from each user of the Site that creates a seller account with Proxibid Classifieds (a “Seller“). 

We may also collect information from each buyer that creates an account with Proxibid Classifieds (“Buyer“). 

Proxibid Classifieds' purpose is to provide Buyers an opportunity to purchase items from Sellers. Proxibid Classifieds provides a marketplace over the Internet that allows Buyers and Sellers to potentially consummate a transaction.

All listings are the responsibility of the Sellers. We have no control over the content of any listing on Proxibid Classifieds. Proxibid Classifieds only maintains the Internet interface between the Seller and Buyer. Each Seller expressly authorizes us to deliver information to any Buyer conducting a search for a listing.

INFORMATION COLLECTED BY PROXIBID CLASSIFIEDS

We collect contact information to sign you up as a Buyer or Seller.

We require each Seller who creates an account on this Site to voluntarily submit the following data, regardless of whether the Seller actually sells anything:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Company Name
• Account Type
• Address
• City, Country, State, Zip
• Phone Number
• E-mail Address

We require each Buyer to create the following for security purposes: 

• Username
• Password

USE AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

EXCEPT AS DISCLOSED IN THIS PRIVACY POLICY, WE DO NOT SELL, TRADE, RENT OR OTHERWISE DISCLOSE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANY THIRD-PARTIES, UNLESS YOU EXPRESSLY GIVE US PERMISSION TO DO SO. HOWEVER, YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION MAY BE SHARED WITH OUR AFFILIATES, AGENTS, OR CONTRACTORS, AS NECESSARY, TO PROVIDE SERVICES TO YOU.

We will only disclose your information to a third party when (i) the disclosure is consistent with this Privacy Policy; (ii) you otherwise expressly authorizes the disclosure; or (iii) we are ordered to disclose the information in a judicial or administrative proceeding and have provided written notice to you of such order (see “DISCLOSURE REQUIRED BY LAW“ below). 

Your personal information is used in the following ways:

• User IDs and Passwords ‒ Provides you with access to your profile and to protected content;
• Account Information ‒ Provides us with information about who you are and how to contact you, along with any preferences you have provided, such as language, E-mail format and interests. Also, provides us with data for internal auditing and reporting;
• Customer Feedback and Support ‒ Provides you with a mechanism for requesting information from us. Also, provides you with a mechanism to tell us how we can improve our services and site design;
• E-mail Correspondence ‒ Provides us with an avenue to raise and respond to issues and inquiries of all types. Also, provides us a way to distribute information about Proxibid Classifieds services and upcoming auctions.

 

SECURITY

We have security measures in place to help protect against the loss, misuse, or alteration of the information under our control. We restrict access to your personal identification and contact information within the company to only those authorized employees who need to use that information for a specific job function. 

Though we employ security measures designed to safeguard online transactions and personal information, we cannot be responsible if a third-party gains access to the database or your personal or credit card information by evading our security measures. If you become aware of any breach of data security or have any other questions regarding the security of our site, please contact us at privacy@proxibid.com. 

DISCLOSURE REQUIRED BY LAW

Unfortunately, due to the existing regulatory environment, we cannot ensure that all of your private communications and other personal information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. Proxibid Classifieds may provide its users with chat rooms, forums, message boards and/or news groups. Please remember that any information disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information. Please also note that we are not responsible for any content posted in these areas. Although we have the right to monitor all information disclosed in these areas, we are under no obligation to do so. 

CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

We understand the importance of protecting children's privacy in the interactive, on-line world. We do not intentionally target or solicit to children thirteen (13) or younger for purposes of collecting personal information. The Site may link to certain Web sites which may target or solicit to children thirteen (13) or younger and may collect personal information. Those Web sites are not governed by this Privacy Policy, but will (or should) have their own privacy policies that more fully explain how they respect and protect the privacy of children while providing them information, goods or services. TERMS OF USE

If you choose to visit ProxibidClassifieds.com, your visit and any dispute over privacy is subject to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Use, including limitations on damages and application of the law of the State of Nebraska.

Please note that we review our privacy practices periodically and such policies are subject to change. We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time by posting revisions on the Site. Use of information we gather now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time of use.
